The top honour in the highly anticipated Magic Millions race day Fashions on the Field competition was taken out by a North Queensland local.
Kymberlee Cockrem from Malanda in the states far north, stunned fashion expert judges and onlookers in her Gold Coast inspired dress and millinery.
The multi-coloured dress, which featured starfish and water like features, paired with gold star fish earrings, blue brimmed hat with embroidered gold seashells and pink pumps wowed the crowed.
“I thought being in the Gold Coast for the event, this was a very appropriate theme for me,” she said.
“I love wearing it. I love my hat.”
Ms Cockrem attended the famous race day on multiple past occasions but she said “none were quite like this”.
She was accompanied by friend Amanda Rutley who was also a top ten finalist.
Second place in the competition was awarded to Brisbane mother Stephanie Martin and third place to Viera Macikova from Sydney.
Ms Cockrem took home a total prize pool of $6000 for her outfit.
