Two men have been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle crash on a Gold Coast suburban street.
Emergency services were called to an accident at the intersection of Miles and Stapylton Street, Coolangatta just before 6.30pm on Saturday night.
A Toyota Corolla and Toyota Land Cruiser crashed near the intersection, causing debris to scatter on the road and the Land Cruiser to roll onto its side near the Miles Street traffic lights.
Paramedics assessed four patients at the scene with the two drivers declining hospitalisation.
Two passengers from each car were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions with a man in his 40s suffering facial and abdominal injuries and a man in his 20s with chest and pelvic injuries.
The road was closed for a short period of time and the cars towed away from the scene.
