Coastal cocktail lovers can now get their favourite tipple delivered directly to their door.
Torquay entrepreneur Jackson Nelson has leapt into the local business scene with bespoke cocktail boxes “for all occasions”.
The Torquay local bought existing online business Little Bit Tipsy for about $10,000 and hasn’t looked back.
Mr Nelson creates personalised boxes that include all the ingredients for an array cocktails like the old fashioned, margaritas, espresso martinis and strawberry daiquiris.
Customers can order the boxes online and get them delivered to their door.
Mr Nelson bought the business after he grew tired of his hospitality job and decided he wanted to do something where he could keep making cocktails.
He said the rebirth of Little Bit Tipsy took “a lot of work”.
The 24-year-old said he had been getting help from his mum, dad and a friend and hoped to grow the business further.
“We’ve had orders from all across Victoria, mostly from around Geelong, but there’s been a couple Australia-wide,” Mr Nelson said.
“One customer called me up and said it was fantastic … they’re mainly gifts - gifts to partners, gifts for anniversaries … there was one we sent to a wedding, a few 18th birthdays and a 40th as well.
“The feedback has been really positive so far, I’m really loving it.”
Mr Nelson said themed boxes marking holidays, such as Easter, would be available.
