A woman has been charged after another woman was allegedly stabbed at a Corio home on Wednesday night.

A woman has been charged and another taken to hospital after an alleged stabbing in Corio on Wednesday night.
Police were called to Dorset Court about 11.40pm after reports of a stabbing.
Officers found a 35-year-old Corio woman with non-life-threatening stab wounds to her upper body.
She was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
A 41-year-old Corio woman was arrested at the scene and interviewed by detectives from the Geelong Criminal Investigation Unit.
She has since been charged with intentionally causing injury and was bailed to front the Geelong Magistrates Court on November 4.
It’s understood a man and a woman have lived at the home for several years.
Detectives were doorknocking neighbouring properties after the incident to gather information.
