A man has sustained an apparent gunshot wound after a shooting in Norlane on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said police were investigating an incident that occurred at about 6pm.
“Police are investigating after a man was located with what is believed to be a gunshot wound on Alkira Ave in Norlane,” the spokeswoman said.
“The man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
The spokeswoman said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident were yet to be determined.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to an incident in Norlane about 6pm Monday.
“A man believed to be in his 30s was taken to hospital in a stable condition with a lower body injury,” she said.
