Geelong’s Anther distillery sweeps 2021 Tasting Australia Spirit Awards
A Geelong distillery has added to the region’s standing as one of the go-to destinations for drinking delights in stellar sweep of major national awards.

Local drops have been recognised by the recent 2021 Tasting Australia Spirit Awards.
North Geelong’s Anther Distillery swept gold, silver, and bronze awards.
Anther took home a gold medal for Pickett’s Gin, the product of a partnership with the Scott Pickett Groupand in collaboration with Spurrell Foraging.
The gin is unique for its featured botanicals foraged from locations 400m above sea level.
The distillery was also awarded silver medals forCharismatica Gin,Barrel Aged Cherry Gin, and the recently released Anther Geelong Dry Gin.
It took home bronze for Anther Dry Gin and Anther Goddess Strength Gin.
Anther founder and principal distiller Dervilla McGowan said the wins heralded a new spotlight on Geelong distilling.
“These wins are for Geelong and are another milestone in Geelong distilling,” she said.
