Geelong businessman Joshua Plozza remanded at Ravenhall Correctional Centre on stalking charge

A Geelong takeaway store owner has appeared in court from prison charged with stalking a woman.

A Geelong takeaway store owner has appeared in court from prison charged with stalking a woman.

Joshua Plozza appeared in the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on Friday via video link from Ravenhall Correctional Centre.

He is charged with one count of stalking another person and five counts of breaches of violence orders.

Mr Plozza’s defence lawyer, Simon Northeast, said his client was awaiting a psychiatric report and would be ready to resolve the matters after a summary case conference. 

He has not yet entered a plea. 

Magistrate Ann McGarvie remanded him in custody until a plea on July 9.

He is also due to face the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on unrelated related matters on July 15.

Mr Plozza is the owner of JP’s Drive Thru on Yarra St.
