A caravan has been gutted by fire after it was engulfed by flames on Sunday night.
Firefighters were called to the scene of the fire, outside the North Geelong tennis court, after receiving multiple calls to triple-0.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokeswoman said onlookers had called to report the van on fire.
“Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find a 22-foot caravan fully involved in fire,” she said
“Crews worked quickly to attack the fire and make the scene safe, with the scene deemed Under Control at 8.55pm.”
Images captured by onlookers showed plumes of orange tinged smoke coming from the van.
The fire was deemed suspicious with the scene handed to Victoria Police.
By Monday morning the van remained at the site of the fire, but was completely gutted with only its blackened shell remaining.
Police have been contacted for comment.
