Four children have been rescued from a locked car in Little River on Friday afternoon.

A CFA spokesman said one Little River CFA unit alongside Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) responded to the incident on Express Rd about 1.25pm.

It’s understood the driver had locked their keys inside the car

“Ambulance Victoria and RACV were on scene,” the CFA spokesman said.

“Crews discovered four children were locked in a vehicle and worked to open it.”

The spokesman said the incident was deemed under control at 1.41pm and safe at 1.44pm.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were also called to the scene.

“No emergency treatment or transport was provided,” she said.
