Alleged criminals wanted by Geelong police

Authorities have released images of a number of Geelong’s wanted suspected criminals, including alleged offenders who are accused of stealing a car, damaging property and possessing a prohibited weapon. SEE THE LIST.

Authorities have released images of a number of Geelong’s wanted suspected criminals, including alleged offenders who are accused of stealing a car, damaging property and possessing a prohibited weapon.

Crime in Greater Geelong jumped by 15.7 per cent in 2023 compared to the previous year, with the region recording 16,641 criminal incidents, according to the Crime Statistics Agency.

About 50 per cent of crimes were unsolved and only 35.9 per cent resulted in charges being laid.

Crime Stoppers Victoria chief executive Stella Smith urged anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of these alleged offenders to contact the authorities.

“Everyone has a part to play in keeping their community safe and this is a way that the people living in the Geelong area can help,” she said.

“Your information, even if you are not 100 per cent sure, could be the missing piece of the puzzle that helps investigators solve a crime.

“We understand that people may feel anxious when coming forward with information.

“We want to remind the community that Crime Stoppers is a confidential crime reporting service that does not require you to provide your personal details.”

Scott Johnson, 51, is wanted by police for failing to answer bail, wilfully damaging property, and unlicensed driving charges. There have been nine warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Norlane area. Mr Johnson is 180cm and has a medium build, blue eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.

Leanne Pearce

Leanne Pearce, 43, is wanted by police for failing to answer bail and criminal damage charges. There have been six warrants issued for her arrest and she is known to frequent the Belmont area. Ms Pearce is 175cm and has a medium build with blue eyes, blond hair and a fair complexion.

Simon Ballantine

Simon Ballantine, 37, is wanted by police for alleged theft and possessing a prohibited weapon. There have been five warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Breakwater area. Mr Ballantine is 180cm and has a solid build, blue eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.

Simone Trench, 33, is wanted by police for allegedly contravening a community corrections order, failing to answer bail and theft of motor vehicle. There have been six warrants issued for her arrest and she is known to frequent the Norlane area. Ms Trench is 165cm and has a thin build, blue eyes, blonde hair and a fair complexion.

Eric Vital

Eric Vital, 25, is wanted by police for theft, criminal damage and possessing cannabis charges. There have been seven warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Corio area. Mr Vital is 165cm and has a solid build, brown eyes, black hair and a dark complexion.

Mark Sparks, 43, is wanted by police for allegedly failing to answer bail and theft. There have been seven warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the East Geelong area. Mr Sparks is 175cm and has a medium build, brown eyes, black hair and a tanned complexion.

Damien Wray

Damien Wray, 42, is wanted by police for allegedly failing to answer bail, possessing methylamphetamine and possessing cannabis. There have been six warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Norlane area. Mr Wray is 175cm and has a medium build, brown eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.

Brenton O’Neill

Brenton O’Neill, 40, is wanted by police for allegedly contravening a community corrections order, intentionally causing injury and driving while suspended. There have been six warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Norlane area. Mr O’Neill is 176cm and has a medium build, hazel eyes, black hair and a tanned complexion.

Dylan Spurling

Dylan Spurling, 26, is wanted by police for allegedly failing to answer bail, theft of motor vehicle and driving while disqualified. There have been seven warrants issued for his arrest and he is known to frequent the Breakwater area. Mr Spurling is 188cm and has a solid build, brown eyes, brown hair and a fair complexion.
