Woman rushed to hospital with significant injuries after reported dog bite at Goodna

A woman was rushed to hospital with significant injuries after she was reportedly bitten by a dog at a home in Ipswich on Sunday night.

A woman was rushed to hospital with significant injuries after she was reportedly bitten by a dog at a home in Ipswich on Sunday night.

Paramedics responded to an incident involving a dog at a private residence at Goodna, just before 11.30pm on Sunday.

According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, a woman in her 30s was treated for multiple lacerations and puncture wounds.

She was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with significant injuries in a stable condition.

A second person was assessed at the scene, however was not physically injured.
