A woman has suffered a head injury after being kicked by a horse on a private property near Gladstone.
A woman has suffered a head injury after being kicked by a horse on a private property near Gladstone.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said crews were called to a private property in River Ranch at about 6.06pm on Wednesday night.
They assessed a female patient in her 40s that had been kicked by a horse.
She was taken with a head injury to Gladstone Hospital.
Emergency services were also called to the Toogoolawah Showgrounds at about 7.50pm on Wednesday night after receiving reports of a fall from a horse.
Paramedics assessed a woman in her 20s with neck and pelvic injuries.
She was airlifted in a stable condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
