Unborn child dies in horror Chambers Flat crash
A video has revealed the horror scene first responders faced when they arrived at a crash south of Brisbane that claimed the life of an unborn baby. The child’s 25-year-old mother and another child were seriously injured.

A young family is grieving the tragic loss of their unborn child following a serious traffic crash south of Brisbane.
The devastating head-on collision between two vehicles on Saturday evening claimed the life of the unborn baby and left the child’s mother, 25, in hospital with serious injuries. An eight-year-old boy was also left seriously injured.
Early crash investigations suggest a Subaru Forrester was travelling west on Chambers Flat Rd, in Logan, about 5.30pm before crossing into the path of a Toyota RAV4 and colliding head-on.
The 25-year-old male driver of the Subaru suffered minor injuries.
The driver and sole occupant of the Toyota, a 44-year-old woman, was also transported to hospital in a serious condition.
Police are urging witnesses and anyone with footage of the crash to come forward.
The crash occurred near the corner of Rossmore Rd and Chambers Flat Rd causing significant traffic delays until at least 9pm.
Traffic was diverted for several hours after the crash as police blocked off the section of Chambers Flat Rd to begin investigations and clear the damage.
