Two boaties were rescued after a wave crashed them onto rocks at the Port of Brisbane.
The 4.3 metre Quintrex was washed onto a rock wall when water police arrived at the scene around 10.30am Monday on the Northern side of Fisherman Island.
Investigations suggest the two men were fishing at anchor when a wave from an unidentified cargo ship pushed their boat into the rocks.
Waves continued to move the boat up against the rocks, tilting the boat on its side.
A 66-year-old Coorparoo man was thrown into the water from the boat, suffering minor leg injuries before a passing boatie helped him.
Water police arrived to help a 72-year-old Greenslopes man from the boat.
At around 6pm, Water Police and Australian Volunteer Coast Guard were able to attend the boat on the approaching high tide where they were able to recover the boat.
The boat was taken back to the Manly Coast Guard Base.
