Three patients in serious conditions have been transported to hospital following separate incidents

Three people have been taken to hospital after separate crashes in the state’s southeast on Sunday afternoon.

Queensland's confronting road safety campaign

A man has sustained “significant injuries” in a car and pedestrian incident on the Woolloongabba Pacific Motorway on ramp.

Crews were called to the Stanley St on ramp just before 6pm, and the road was closed to traffic for some time.

Initial investigations suggest a red hatchback struck the 26-year-old man from Coopers Plains as it was travelling south on Leopard St towards the Pacific Motorway on ramp.

The man was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

Police are appealing for witnesses and other drivers with dashcam footage in relation to this incident to come forward.

In an unrelated incident, a man has been transported to hospital following a motorcycle crash at the base of Mount Coot-Tha on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called just before 4.30pm to Mount Coot-Tha road just inbound of the Mount Coot-Tha roundabout – to reports that a male motorcycle rider had come off his bike.

The man, aged in his 20s, was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition and will be treated for pelvic injuries.

Earlier, a man in his 30s was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital after a vehicle and pedestrian incident in Redbank Plains.

He is being treated for pelvic injuries after the car ran him over on the corner of Redbank Plains Rd and Frawley Drive at 4.14pm.
