Toogoolawah skydiving incident at leaves patient with ‘significant’ injuries

A helicopter is en route to a skydiving incident on a highway northwest of Brisbane.

A rescue helicopter is en route to the incident on the Brisbane Valley Highway northwest of Brisbane.

A man has suffered significant leg injuries after a “hard landing” while skydiving north west of Brisbane.

The Queensland Ambulance Service said the incident occured on the Brisbane Valley Highway at Toogoolawah in the Somerset region just after 1pm on Saturday.

A QAS spokeswoman said the man was in a stable condition.

A helicopter has been deployed to the scene.
