Sunshine Coast forklift injury and snake bite

A man in his 20s has been injured in an accident involving a pedestrian and forklift at a Sunshine Coast workplace, while another man has been treated for a reported snake bite.

A man in his 20s has been injured in an accident involving a pedestrian and forklift at a Sunshine Coast workplace.

Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics were called to the Chevallum workplace just before 6am on Friday.

A man was being assessed at the scene and said to be in a stable condition.

Earlier, a man in his 60s suffered a head injury after a crash involving a bicycle on Oceanic Drive at Wurtulla about 5.27am.

He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

At Woombye, a man in his 30s was taken to hospital after a reported snake bite at the Marshall Ski Lakes and Campgrounds at 6.53pm on Thursday.
