A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Brisbane’s west has been remembered as a loving dad.
A motorcyclist killed in a crash in Brisbane’s west on November 30 has been remembered as a proud and loving father.
Shaun Krause, 41, died after his Yamaha motorbike left Moggill Rd at Bellbowrie and crashed into a fence around 7.20pm.
The Bob Jane T-Mart store manager left behind a 14-year-old daughter, Natalie.
Her grandmother Amanda Schneider said his life was defined by his love for her.
“For those who knew him, he was a man whose world revolves around being a father and whose greatest joy came from watching his daughter grow,” she said.
“He poured his heart into teaching her, guiding her and celebrating every step she took.
“Friends often said, you could see his pride in the way he looked at her. A pride that only grew stronger with each passing year.
“When he watched her play soccer, he was her loudest supporter. Cheering her on with the same enthusiasm and pride each time.”
Ms Schneider said all who knew Mr Krause felt a deep ache in their hearts.
“But his legacy, his kindness, his devotion, his boundless love for his daughter will continue to shape and strengthen her in the years ahead,” she said.
“Shaun will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the love he gave.
“His absence is immeasurable but so too is the impact he leaves behind.
“Shaun came from a very loving family. I know his parents very well, and he’s going to be sadly missed.”
A GoFundMe has been set up for Natalie, with the funds to be used for her financial expenses including school fees and clothing.
