A motorcyclist who died on Sunday after crashing into a tree has been remembered by the community as a beautiful soul.

Matt Salty, 25, of Arana Hills, died after colliding with a tree on the nature strip on Bridgeman Rd in Bridgeman Downs, in Brisbane’s north.

Friends left flowers and a pair of safety gloves, which symbolises his passion for motorcycles, at the location.

They have also paid tribute to him on social media, with emotional photos and videos of him travelling on his motorcycle.

In Mr Salty’s social media he shared his epic ride moments and journeys with his friends.

The grieving Brisbane motorcycle community had planned a memorial ride on Saturday to honour his life, but it was postponed not long after the announcement following his family’s wishes.
