Emergency services are responding to a serious workplace incident on North Stradbroke Island this morning.
Paramedics are assessing a man in his 40s for facial and abdominal injuries after he was reportedly caught under a vehicle at a workplace on Dickson Way.
The incident reportedly occurred about 6am, with a rescue helicopter en route to meet the patient.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man had been moved from the scene of the incident to a local health facility to await the arrival of the helicopter.
The man is believed to be in a serious but stable condition.
The incident is ongoing, with more information to be made available in the next hour.
