Police investigating serious crash, Upper Caboolture

A boy is in a critical condition after the car he was driving crashed into a tree at Upper Caboolture earlier today.
Emergency services were called to the crash about 1.40am to find the driver trapped inside the vehicle at the intersection of Darley and Tinney roads.
Fire crews used cutting gear to remove him.
The 17-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries and was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH).
The passenger, also a 17-year-old male, had minor injuries and was taken to the RBWH.
Police are investigating the circumstances around the crash and have urged anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
