PolAir joins in search for missing Cleveland man
The search for missing man Anthony Roper, who may be lost and disorientated, has entered its third day as PolAir and SES crews are called in to help.

More than 70 SES members and 20 police officers are doorknocking homes and scouring bushland as the search for missing man Anthony Roper enters its third day.
The 69-year-old is a veteran who served in the Australian navy and has a medical condition that causes him to be disoriented.
Search co-ordinators believe he may have stopped for cover from rain or injured himself in the Cleveland or Thornlands area.
Authorities are urging locals to check inside, around and under houses, sheds, caravans, boats, trailers and cars for any sign of Mr Roper.
Today’s search is focusing on several streets in Cleveland and Thornlands including Beach Street, Fitzroy Street, Langdon Street and South Street
Dozens of locals have conducted their own searches of bushlands, sharing on local community groups which areas they have checked.
Police this morning released CCTV vision of Mr Roper outside a Petrol station at the intersection of Princess and Bloomfield streets.
He was wearing blue jeans, thongs and a shirt with dark stripes.
A Queensland Police search co-ordinator said CCTV of local train stations we’re also being reviewed.
SES members and police are continuing to search through bushland despite a severe thunderstorm warning active for the region.
One local woman had been searching for several hours over the past two days.
“Our local walking track, we walk there everyday, and there was way more people there than there usually is,” she said.
“They weren’t just walking on the path they were going up into the grass and the bush.
“Definitely seeing a huge amount of support from the community.”
