A man is in hospital after he became trapped in the wreckage of his biplane when it crashed in the Scenic Rim, with the crash also starting a fire.
Crews were called to Degen Road in Dugandan just after 11am Tuesday, following reports a light aircraft had crashed.
The male pilot, aged in his 50s, was initially trapped inside, with emergency crews freeing him by 11.41am.
Queensland Ambulance Service said the man was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition, with minor soft tissue injuries.
The pilot was the only person on-board the one-seater biplane.
The Queensland Fire Department worked to extinguish a fire caused by the crash, which was put out by noon.
