A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a car at Ipswich overnight.
The accident happened at the intersection of Redbank Plains Rd and Argyle St about 9pm.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a man in his 30s had been hit by a car and had sustained a head injury.
It is understood he was struck outside the Redbank Plains 7-Eleven store.
Two Queensland Fire Department crews were called to the scene and a section of the road was closed for forensic crash investigators.
The driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their investigations.
