Man dies in vehicle fire at Laidley, fears for woman after two-vehicle crash at Warwick
A man has died after a vehicle fire in the Lockyer Valley, while there are fears for a female passenger following a serious two vehicle crash in the Southern Downs.

A man has died after a car fire in the Lockyer Valley on Friday evening.
Emergency services responded to a vehicle fire at Railway St, Laidley at around 6.40pm.
On arrival, crews located a vehicle on fire and a man has been located in the vehicle deceased.
A crime scene has been declared and investigations into the incident have commenced.
Meanwhile there are fears for a female passenger after a serious multi-vehicle crash on the Southern Downs on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of East St and Pratten St, Warwick just after 7pm.
The Forensic Crash Investigation unit were tasked to the scene of the crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said five people were taken to Warwick Hospital following the crash.
“We’ve transported five patients, one is in a serious condition and the other four have minor injuries only,” the spokeswoman said.

Earlier on Friday four people, including three children, were taken to hospital after a vehicle rollover on the Bruce Highway, which caused significant traffic delays north of Brisbane.
Emergency services were called to the Anzac Avenue off ramp heading onto the Bruce Highway southbound at North Lakes at 3.55pm.
On arrival, crews located a vehicle on its side, with several people inside.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, three children were taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital, all in a stable condition.
One man was in a possibly life-threatening condition and taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
The man was extricated from the vehicle before being rushed to hospital.
The left hand lane of the Bruce Highway has since re-opened following the crash and traffic has cleared.
