Mystery power outage impacts 4000 across Southeast Qld

Almost 4000 homes across Southeast Queensland were left without power overnight due to an unknown power outage.

Almost 4000 homes across Southeast Queensland were left without power overnight, with Energex working to determine the cause.

Homes stretching from the Gold Coast to the north of Brisbane have been struck by widespread unknown power outages.

The worst affected areas included Cedar Vale, Bulimba, Morningside and Mount Gravett East.

Most of the causes remain under investigation.

By 5am on Monday, the total number of affected customers was down to 252.
