Motorcyclist dies at scene of Logan crash
A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car at a busy Logan intersection. It was one of two fatal crashes in the state’s south on Tuesday.

A motorcyclist has died after a crash with a car at a busy Logan intersection on Tuesday.
Paramedics were called to Scott Lane and Teviot Road at North Maclean about 6.09am to reports of a grey Mitsubishi ASX and a blue Yamaha YZF-RS crashed in the middle of the intersection.
The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Dinmore man, was treated by paramedics on scene for critical injuries but police later confirmed he died at the scene.
Two other patients from the vehicle were treated for minor injuries.
Police closed Teviot Rd and Scott Lane in both directions at the intersection.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating. Anyone with information that could assist investigations, including dashcam or other CCTV vision, is urged to contact police.
Later on Tuesday, a Brisbane man died after the car he was driving rolled and plunged into a creek in the Scenic Rim.
The 51-year-old Carina man died at the scene of the crash, which happened at Running Creek around 9am.
