A motorcyclist is fighting for life after a collision with a car on a major highway in Brisbane’s north on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision between a car and motorcycle on the M1 Gateway Motorway at Deagon happened about 4.20pm.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 40s, suffered life-threatening head injuries.
Paramedics transported him to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
Motorists were advised to avoid the road, follow all traffic directions and expect delays as multiple northbound lanes were blocked.
