Morayfield crash: Man dies in Bruce Highway motorcycle crash north of Brisbane

The 25-year-old motorcycle rider who died at the scene of a crash with a car on the Bruce Highway north of Brisbane overnight has been identified.

A 25-year-old man has died following a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on the Bruce Highway north of Brisbane.

Joshua Gallier of Caboolture was riding in the northbound lanes of the highway near the Uhlmann Rd overpass in Morayfield shortly before 9pm, when police say his motorcycle collided with a car travelling in the same direction.

Mr Gallier died at the scene of the crash.

All lanes of the motorway have since reopened, after being partially closed overnight.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the vehicles prior to the crash and anyone with relevant dashcam footage.

The Forensic Crash Unit investigation is continuing.
