A young motorcycle rider is fighting for life at Brisbane Children’s Hospital after he fell from his motorcycle near Maryborough last week.
According to Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service, the teenager was treated in Hervey Bay Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.
He was then flown to Brisbane Children’s Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The male teenager fell from his motorcycle on a private property at Island Plantation about 5.54pm on Wednesday, October 19, and suffered head, leg and spinal injuries.
The teen was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Hervey Bay Hospital late last week.
