Man knocked unconscious inside Fortitude Valley nightclub

A man has been rushed to hospital after being knocked unconscious in a nightclub in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Police are making inquiries this morning after a man was knocked unconscious in a Fortitude Valley nightclub.

Paramedics were called to the Ann St club about 12.45am on Sunday following reports a man had been hit.

He was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with a head injury.

A Queensland Police spokesman said the man had been knocked unconscious but authorities weren’t aware of his condition as he was taken to hospital.

He said no arrests had been made in relation to the incident which there was no CCTV footage of.

Police attended the club and spoke to security guards and any potential witnesses.

Inquiries are ongoing.

Another man sustained a suspected head injury in an unrelated alleged assault at Noosa Heads.

Paramedics were called to a location off Hastings Street at 10.15pm.

The man was in a stable condition when he was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
