Man in serious condition after skydiving incident

A skydiver has been treated for serious injuries following an incident near the Queensland-NSW border on Monday afternoon.

A skydiver was in a serious condition and being treated for multiple injuries after an incident near the Queensland-NSW border on Monday afternoon.

The male in his 30s was understood to have spinal, pelvic and a series of internal injuries following the accident at Meandarra-Talwood Rd, Tarawera, near Goondiwindi about 2pm.

Paramedics were on scene to prepare the man for airlifting.

It follows the death of Douglas Ball in a skydiving incident at Laguna Quays near Mackay on April 16.
