Motorcyclist dies after crash at Deception Bay

A motorcyclist has died after a crashing into a car north of Brisbane on Thursday night.

A man in his 30s has died as the result of a motorbike and car crash north of Brisbane on Thursday night.

A 36-year-old Fitzgibbon man was declared dead at the scene of the crash on Deception Bay Rd near Zammit Rd.

Police say the incident occurred about 6.15pm when a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike crashed into a Nissan Navara.

The driver of the vehicle, a 66-year-old Burpengary woman, and her three passengers were not injured.

Witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision is urged to come forward.

Investigations are continuing.
