A farmer has been flown to hospital after a motorcycle crash in the North Burnett region on Sunday.
It’s believed the man, aged in his 30s, had been riding the vehicle on his property in Monto when he hit a mound, causing him to crash and fall.
Fast-acting family members soon found the injured man and called emergency services for help.
The rescue chopper was tasked into action just after 9am, where the pilot was able to land close to the scene.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics initially treated the man for head and limb injuries.
The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue Critical Care Doctor and the QAS Flight Paramedic then assisted in stabilising the farmer.
He was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
