Elderly woman critical after Brisbane balcony fall

A woman in her 70s is fighting for life after falling 3m off a balcony in Brisbane’s north.

An elderly woman is fighting for life after falling 3m off a balcony at a home in Alderley, on Brisbane’s northside, on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called to the residence just before 8.30am to reports of the woman, aged in her 70s, toppling over the balcony.

Multiple Queensland Ambulance Service crews rushed to the scene before she was taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s hospital in a critical condition.
