Driver seriously injured, trapped after car collides with house
A teenager who has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries had to be cut from a wreckage after crashing into a house in the Scenic Rim region.

A teenager is fighting for life after his vehicle crashed into a house in the Scenic Rim Region on Thursday.
Emergency services responded to reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a house at Warrill View-Peak Crossing Rd, Peak Crossing just before 1pm.
A 17-year-old male was trapped in the vehicle with serious injuries, with a rescue chopper tasked to the scene.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said firefighters are working to stabilise the impacted section of the house to remove the vehicle.
The teen has suffered potentially life-threatening head, abdominal and pelvic injuries. He was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital by helicopter.
The intersection of Old Warwick Road and Warrill View Peak Crossing Road, Harrisville was closed due to the incident.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area, seek alternative routes and expect delays.
Anyone with information or relevant CCTV or dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
