Confronting dashcam footage has captured the moments two people attacked a car in Eight Mile Plains.

Confronting dashcam footage has captured the moments two people attacked a car at Eight Mile Plains in Brisbane’s south.

The video shows two men getting out of a Mercedes-Benz before one of them kicks in the back door of the other car while the other shouts at the driver.

One then throws a bottle at the window, smashing the glass across the road.

The two people then fled the scene, as seen in the footage aired on 7News.

Dashcam footage of car attack

A police spokesman said officers had been called to reports of a man banging on the window of another vehicle about 7.30pm on May 27, at the intersection of Padstow and Warrigal roads.

“Upon arrival, police patrolled the area but neither vehicle was found,” he said.

The spokesman said no formal report had been made.
