Cyclist dies in fatal truck collision in Hendra
A cyclist was killed after he collided with a truck and was thrown onto the street on one of Brisbane’s main arterial roads.

Police are investigating after a cyclist was hit and killed by a “heavy rigid truck” at Hendra on Monday morning.
Initial information indicates that around 7.45am the cyclist was heading south along Nudgee Road when he collided with the truck near the intersection with Long Street.
The cyclist, a 53-year-old Nudgee man, was thrown onto the roadway and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 48-year-old male driver of the truck was uninjured in the crash.
Forensic crash Unit officers are now investigating the circumstances around the crash and appealing for any witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
