Motorists faced nine hours of delays on the Cunningham Highway at Amberley on Saturday after a truck rolled and spilt its load of boxed frozen chickens.
The incident, which occurred at the Ipswich Rosewood Rd intersection about 6am, reduced the highway to one lane.
The Department of Transport and Main Roads said authorities had cleared the poultry spill by 3.11pm - nine hours after the rollover.
A police spokesman said the highway was reopened with traffic cleared and flowing in both directions.
Police will not be investigating the incident any further.
No one was injured.
