An exclusion zone has been set up around a business in Wynnum West following a nitric acid spill on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to a business near North Road and Euston Road at approximately 6.43am following reports of a chemical spill onsite.
A neighbouring property was evacuated and a small exclusion zone was set up around the business.
It is understood there is no risk to the community or the environment.
The spill has been contained and nine fire crews remain onsite as of 1.15pm.
