Lost little boy reunited with his family in Thornlands

A young boy who was found alone in Thornlands, southeast of Brisbane, has been reunited with his family.

A young boy who was found alone on a street southeast of Brisbane has been reunited with his family.

A member of the public alerted police after finding the little boy, who has special needs, by himself on George Thorn Drv, Thornlands, just before 5pm on Sunday.

The boy was uninjured but was unable to communication with authorities.

Police confirmed just after 8pm that the boy’s caregivers had been located and they thanked the public for helping them get the child safely home.
