A woman was seriously injured when she was struck by a motor scooter in inner Brisbane on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened at the Herston Rd entrance to QUT Kelvin Grove about 1.20pm.
The woman was taken to the nearby Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious condition with significant head, arm and leg injuries.
The scooter rider was taken to the same hospital in a stable condition.
Herston Rd was briefly closed but has since reopened.
