A tradie’s ute has gone up in flames in inner-city Brisbane while a man is fighting for life after being hit by a car at Inala.

A ute has gone up in flames in inner-city Brisbane on Thursday.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency spokeswoman said crews were called about 11.45am after it was reported a vehicle caught on fire exiting the Clem 7.
“A car collided with an unknown object and caught fire from there,” she said.
“All occupants were removed from the vehicle.”
The crash occurred near Northey Street and Lutwyche Road in Windsor.
Queensland Police and QFES are still on scene investigating the situation.
Paramedics attended the scene but were not needed.
Meanwhile, a man is fighting for life after being hit by a car south of Brisbane on Thursday afternoon.
At 12.14pm, emergency services were called to Skylark Street at Inala to reports a car had hit a pedestrian near the Inala East Shopping Centre.
Paramedics were on scene treating the patient in a critical condition with significant head injuries at 12.40pm.
Queensland Fire and Emergency said three crews were dispatched to the collision and police said the forensic crash unit will investigate.
