A 67-year-old man has died after his car left the road and hit a pole in the Scenic Rim on Monday afternoon.
Police say the accident occurred on Hoya Rd near Bartholomew Ave about 2.30pm.
Early investigations suggest the white 2005 Mitsubishi Triton was travelling south along Hoya Rd when it left the road and hit a pole.
The driver and single occupant, who was from Hoya, died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have relevant dashcam/CCTV vision to come forward.
