Trains travelling to Caboolture, Redcliffe Peninsula and the Sunshine Coast were experiencing delays up to 30 minutes.

Outbound trains were stopped to allow emergency services to gain access to an incident happening nearby.

Commuters travelling on the Ipswich line can also expect delays after an overweight vehicle struck a rail bridge at Booval.

Residual delays of up to 30 minutes can be expected after the rail bridge was inspected and deemed safe for use.
