Emergency services called to crash on prominent Toowoomba street
The driver of a Mazda 3 is feeling worse for wear after an alleged drunken crash into a tree on a prominent Toowoomba street overnight.

A person who allegedly drove while intoxicated will front court after their drive home saw their vehicle crash into a tree and catch fire.
Queensland Fire Department were alerted to the incident about 9pm on Saturday, where they located a vehicle that had crashed into a tree on the corner of Campbell and Mary Streets.
A QFD spokeswoman said crews found the vehicle fully engulfed and quickly went into action to extinguish the blaze.
It is understood there was no one in the vehicle when fireys arrived.
Police and paramedics were also called to the scene, with the driver treated and later taken to Toowoomba Hospital.
The injuries of the driver are unknown.
A QPS spokesman said the driver of the black Mazda 3 was charged with driving while under the influence and issued a notice to appear.
Emergency services cleared the scene just after 10pm.
TWO VEHICLES COLLIDE AT CROWLEY VALE
On Saturday morning emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on the Warrego Highway at Crowley Vale.
It is understood the two vehicles were travelling eastbound when they collided after 8am.
Three people were injured, including a woman in her 60s and a second unknown patient who were both flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
A third male patient was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
Traffic was delayed while emergency services worked to clear the scene.
