Charters Towers: Woman hurt after fall from roof of Great Britain Road address

A woman has been badly hurt after falling from a roof on a rural property in Charters Towers.

A woman has been badly hurt after falling from a roof on a rural property in Charters Towers.

Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that the woman, in her 60s, had fallen between two to three metres, suffering head and pelvic injuries.

The incident occurred on Great Britain Road on the outskirts of Charters Towers city about 10.30am.

A QAS spokesman said the victim was transported in a stable condition to Charters Towers Hospital.
