Channel 9’s Alex Cullen, former NRL star Ben Barba and cricketer Nathan Lyon all enjoyed success in the real estate market this week, but why has radio presenter Jackie ‘O’ Henderson not found a new home? Jonathan Chancellor tells all.

Despite the new real estate marketing challenges, Channel 9 Today sports presenter Alex Cullen has secured the sale of his 1970s Maroubra investment unit.
It fetched a healthy $950,000.
There were two weeks of open for inspections, but its intending owner-occupier buyer emerged during its third week of marketing when only inspections by appointment were permissible.
The daughter of the buyer physically inspected the Hereward St apartment with Ellison Julian Property agent Josh Ellison. They provided FaceTime viewing to the mother, who was in isolation having returned recently from overseas.
Ellison had been quoting a $900,000 guide. Cullen paid $602,500 for the two-bedroom apartment back in 2013.
Now with one-year-old twins, he and his producer wife Bonnie Campbell are looking to buy something that will fit the family.
BARBA OFFLOADS BRISSIE ABODE
There’s good news for former Cronulla Sharks star Ben Barba.
He’s finally managed to offload his former Brisbane home after just under a year on the market. He got $800,000 for it, having sought offers over $849,000 when first listed.
The price for the four-bedroom Everton Park home was revised down to offers over $799,000 before its sale.
Barba paid $769,000 in 2013, after his move to the Broncos. He only spent one season at Red Hill before moving to the Sharks.
It was a better result for Barba than he had on his Shire home.
Barba, now a labourer in North Queensland after being deregistered from the NRL for a string of high-profile incidents, sold his former Caringbah South home for $1,085,000 last year, nearly $100,000 less than he paid five years earlier.
JACKIE O NOT INSPECTING
Prestige Vaucluse agents are finding it hard to get buyers to turn up to invitation-only inspections.
With 25 listings, and prices falling, agents hoped to get a call from KISS breakfast co-host Jackie “O” Henderson, who has sold her $6.5 million home.
“I haven’t left home for 13 days,” Jackie O said from her Bondi Beach rental before going off-air for a fortnight.
She missed out last year at a $5.8 million Vaucluse auction.
LYON DELIVERED $200K LOSS
Cricketer Nathan Lyon has secured $3,615,000 for his Port Hacking waterfront, accepting a near $200,000 loss.
The off-spinning champion listed the Sutherland Shire home in May last year, only for the deal to fall over.
It came back in September with a $3.8 million to $4.2 million guide.
It cost $3.8 million in 2016, the year before his split with partner Mel Waring.
