A parody trailer of Hollywood blockbuster film Bombshell has poked fun at ongoing dramas surrounding Channel 9 and the network’s merry-go-round of Today Show hosts. WATCH THE VIDEO

A parody trailer of Hollywood biographical drama film Bombshell featuring channel 9 personalities is doing the rounds and being shared by TV executives.

The 15 second YouTube clip features Deb Knight as Charlize Theron, Allison Langdon as Margot Robbie and Georgie Gardner as Nicole Kidman who star in the newly released blockbuster.

The Channel 9 journalists’ heads are superimposed on the A-list celebrities’ bodies.

It’s not yet known who created the video, but it will no doubt cause a stir at Nine, which has been involved in scandal after scandal since Today host Karl Stefanovic was booted from his plum job last year before being reinstated for 2020.

Months after Stefanovic’s axing, his replacements, Deb Knight and Georgie Gardner were forced out of their roles, only to be replaced by a returned Stefanovic and Langdon.

“It’s only been up for a couple of hours and it’s already being passed on quickly,” a source said.

“No one knows who has done it but it’s been done extremely well.”
