Woree man charged with aiding suicide after death of elderly man
A 47-year-old Woree man has been charged with aiding the suicide of a 76-year-old Earlville man.
A Woree man has been charged with aiding the suicide of a 76-year-old man in Earlville yesterday.
Police allege that the 47-year-old was known to the man, and assisted him in his death.
Emergency services were called to Mulgrave Road on December 6 at 8am after reports of a sudden death, followed by police launching an investigation.
He is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on January 9, 2026.
